Crafted from Gewürztraminer grapes, this is a one-time bottling of Gundlach Bundschu Dry Vermouth. The label is inspired by pre-prohibition Gundlach Bundschu labels from the days of fortified wines found in the archives. This project had unique challenges, as it was already bottled upon my joining the team, but it did not have a label due to several TTB roadblocks. After collaborating with past winemakers, the production team, and compliance, I delivered a label solution that respected its origin story and allowed sale of the product, which was later featured in The New York Times.
